Corey Lewis Those quad shut lines on the tailgate are going to look crap in light colors. I mean why tell someone on here your life and real world experience when someone would want to argue with you or tell you that you are stupid. Of course our two useful idiots have told how they would do things.I really think that our commenters who have worked in automotive manufacturing haven't commented due to the sheer volume of disrespectful comments they know they'd receive. These contracts may be a sea change for both sides. We haven't heard from our commenters who have worked in vehicle plants. El scotto For years, even decades the Big 3 gave the unions pretty much what ever they wanted. George Moy They got rid of the truck too,so what is it Ford to not have a car or truck to buy?GM is doing the same thing no car, and next no truck, but I wonder if anyone out there realizes with trucks they sit up higher, you will have more rollover accidents than you would have with a car, so I hope you weigh out the safety issues before signing on the dotted line. What did they do to it now, the fools?Second impression? Why? I was never interested in any stupid pickup anyway. Tassos First impression, what the hell did they do to the grille? All prior versions of the F150 were fine, styling wise. Why is the EV still not available with AWD? It was a notable omission on the Niro, but on this even more SUV-y Kona it makes even less sense.Yes, I know that FWD with snow tires>AWD with all seasons, but most people don't know or care. Fast as hell, but super uncomfortable to drive on the streets where I live with all the broken pavement and potholes. But that interest waned since everyone in my peer group wanted an Integra with a GSR motor. I once wanted a 94 Acura Integra, as Acura’s was all the rage in the 90’s. All the imports didn’t do anything for me. All so boring and small.Īlways did love seeing 80’s and 90’s Cadillac Fleetwoods and Lincoln Town Cars cruising on by however. I’m a product of the 80’s and 90’s and although I grew up around many 80’s and 90’s cars, I couldn’t stand looking at them. My name is deceiving, I’m not some old fart defending the classics here, but a young guy that didn’t grow up around those tanks sadly. 1979 THUNDERBIRD INTERIOR FULL SIZE
Not all were good cars obviously, but the luxury full size RWD Fords and GM vehicles were cool and rode so buttery smooth that they put many modern vehicles to shame in ride quality and road isolation with their body on frame design. With all the issues of the mid-late 70’s malaise era American cars, they at least had presence.
Nothing really today on the road truly makes people do a double take. Driving that car makes you feel important, and special. Opening one of those doors takes some strength, because my 79 Mark V is a tank. They all mostly feel cheap inside and look bland as heck compared a late 70’s Ford product. Who cares about how great MPG’s modern vehicles get, or how safe they are.
